I am happy to announce that I am showing a plethora of prints at this years CPC Small Print Exhibition! This is my second year in the exhibition, and I am showing alongside 60 other national and international artists. Today is the second day of the Grand Opening Party and the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative will be open until 7pm. If you cannot make it today, the exhibition runs through January 27th. Get your holiday shopping done all at once!

Today, Today, Today! I am a vendor again at this year's installment of the Chicago Printers Guild Publisher's Fair. The fair takes place from 10a-6p at Elastic Arts. I will be showing a handful of new prints, including a pair for Cannonball Press. Come check it out and see what some of Chicago's best have been up to!

The Full Court Press North American Juried Print Exhibition will open on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 5 p.m. at the Islander Art Gallery as a part of the FCP Printmaking Symposium. The FCP Print Symposium, which runs Wednesday, Oct. 4, through Saturday, Oct. 7, is four days celebrating the diversity and connectivity of print media. 70 works were chosen by Margaret Simpson and Tom Druecker of Slugfest Printmaking Workshop and Gallery in Austin, and the show will run through November 1st. Next Wednesday, Blackburn 20/20 Studio will be hosting a pop-up fundraising exhibition to benefit the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) and Sean Casey Animal Rescue (SCAR). I am showing work in the exhibition which features over 75 artworks priced at $200 and under. If you live in NYC, please make an effort to see this exhibition and help out two great organizations. The show was hand picked by Jeffery Dell and will coincide with Lawrence Print Week (October 16-22). Print Week is a celebration of Printed Matter for makers and collectors, lead by the Lawrence Arts Center, University of Kansas Printmaking Program, and Wonder Fair. The exhibition will be on view from September 29th through November 5th.
I will be showing work this Friday in the 3rd Annual Hand Pulled Prints: The Current Practice in Printmaking exhibition at Site:Brooklyn. This show features works from more than 60 artists, hand picked by juror Marina Ancona who founded 10 Grand Press in Brooklyn. Unfortunately I can not make it, but to all my friends in New York, please stop by!
Site:Brooklyn 165 7th Street, Brooklyn, New York. This weekend, September 15-17th, I will be showing a collection of new prints at Wolf and Finch in Augusta, GA. My work, along with the work of 30 other artists will be shown in conjunction with the Arts in the Heart festival going on outside of the gallery. If you are in the area and have the chance to stop by the gallery, please check out all of the work being displayed this weekend.
More event details can be found on the event page here. Scratchfest 3 is coming up next Saturday, August 3rd at The Ready Room in St. Louis, MO. Organized by Tom Huck's Evil Prints, this print fair will be the culmination of the 4th Printbangerz Ball, a bi-annual printmaking conference/workshop. Printmakers from across the country will be coming out and selling work, so I would love to see you there and hangout! The event starts at 6pm and runs through midnight. One night only, so don't miss it!
RSVP on Facebook here. It's back again for a sixth year! It Came from the Bayou will be posting up at the Saint Arnold Brewing Co in Houston, TX next Sunday, April 23rd from 11-4pm. I will be tabling for the second year in a row, so please stop by, grab a delicious St Arnold's brew, and say hello. There will be 30+ printmakers and artists selling their work and PrintMatters will be hosting a steamroller printing event outside in the parking lot. Also-If you are in town on Saturday, Burning Bones Press will be hosting the Weiner Welcome/Poster Show from 6-9pm, at Burning Bones. Free hot dogs and refreshments while they last. I will be splitting a table alongside my good friends over at Hoofprint, and we will be showing a wide variety of our silkscreens, woodcuts, and lithographs. On Friday and Saturday nights, Defibrillator will be hosting other performance art, music, and screenings. On Sunday there will be free mimosa's until noon, so make sure you stop by!
